Hope the summer is treating everyone great and no one is over heating. I just wanted to let everyone know that I heard you all loud and clear and have removed the Upsellit simulated chat from the website. It was a tough call being that it was working at saving sales but I agree that it looked very tacky and didn’t give the professional appearance that I wanted with the site. I appreciate all of your support and willingness to promote the PUPS website.
So here’s a question: What do you as affiliates want to see from PUPS? What can we do to take the affiliate program to the next level, or to the level that it was when the site started with Avantlink several years ago? I look forward to your responses and help in making this the best pet supply affiliate program on the web.

Welcome to the Paws Up Pet Supply merchant blog!
I would like to take this opportunity to let you know that we at Paws Up Pet Supply are planning a lot of stuff that is going to happen in the next six months or so. Ever since we took over the site in November 2007, we have been on a mission to reinvigorate the the site and the affiliate program. We are beginning to see so light at the end of the tunnel. As you may know, we have just recently launched our NEW redesigned website at the end of May. We are in the process of increasing our product offerings to include such items as Pet food, Eco-friendly pet products and Equine products. All of these are sure to help raise the total sales price and conversion rates.
Our newest product is Pet Quenchers. This product is essentially bottled water for your pet. The company is owned and operated by a licensed Veterinarian. The water is filtered and made in Missouri. This product is perfect for every pet owner but will be mainly used by dog owners. This is perfect to take on hiking trips and when traveling. There’s no need to carry a bowl and a container of water. Pet Quenchers is a bowl with water in one. The container is resealable so it can be used for more than one use. We just made a trip from Denver to Kansas City and back and this product worked great for our pup and I’m sure it will work great for your customers as well.

Well I have a few things to go over. First please, please everyone change over to the new data feeds. The old ones will go away so very soon.
We also now have a graphic designer working just for the affiliate program. His name is Lance and is already working on category and brand banners in all shapes and sizes.

As you know we have been making some changes to our backend systems and one of these changes are the URL structures so that we can push our SEO value to our partners and push out our conversion.
Avantlink:
now have new feeds with the new URL’s. Simply go into your account and replace your old feed, same name. The old feed by the way still works as we have redirected everything.
Commission Junction:
We have updated the Altrec feeds and is in live mode so you should see the new feed by tommorrow. Altrec Outlet is getting close to being completed with the intergration and will push our new terms to everyone. We are going to be using an item based program which will get you more tools and more promotions on specfic products and brands. With no hicuups I will push out new terms tomorrow.
Shareasale:
We are going to change the feed for Altrec slightly to improve navigation to category’s, thank you everyone for input. This should be done by the end of next week.
