Going to notch it back a week to October 30th…which is the day we announced the hard launch of the first integrated Deal Of The Day (DOTD) tool in AvantLink. As we all know price drives conversion, especially when high-profile brands are featured. As far as we know, this is the first DOTD tool from any affiliate marketing network/technology provider on the Internet.

For Affiliates
It’s great for Affiliate marketers because it offers dynamic displays of a new product on a daily basis…plus, the product is discounted which increases conversion. There is even an RSS option for the DOTD tool that results in dynamic, web content that is seen by the search engines.

For Merchants
Online retailers find value in terms of inventory control, ie, if they have to move a product they can just apply a discount then add to AvantLink’s queue.

Options for publishing the daily deal content include dynamic text, banner and html ads or dynamic RSS feeds. Affiliates, the dynamic html display is a simple Javascript cut-n-paste on any page dedicated to a merchant or their category.
